Paragraph for Windows

Privacy policy

What Paragraph for Windows sends, when, and to whom. The short version: your notes are written and kept on your own PC. There is no account, no sign-in and no advertising, and there is no analytics library or usage tracking in the app. A note leaves your PC only when you export it, print it or share it yourself.

Effective 21 October 2026 · applies to Paragraph for Windows, version 1.0 and later, downloaded from this site or installed from the Microsoft Store. Publisher: HurryApp Ltd, 86–90 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE, United Kingdom.

In one table

Every network connection the app can make, and what triggers it. Nothing else leaves your PC.

Your notes

Paragraph keeps your notes in a folder on your PC (under your user profile, in AppData\Local\Paragraph). They are not uploaded anywhere and there is no sync service. Notes protected with a password are encrypted on disk with that password; we never see it and cannot recover it. When you export, print or share a note through Windows, it goes where you send it.

Send Feedback

The feedback window (Help › Send Feedback…) lets you write to us. Nothing is sent until you press Send. The report contains your text, any attachments you added, and the technical context listed above. We use it only to answer you and to fix the app. You can include an email address in your message if you want a reply.

Diagnostics and crash reports

If the app runs into an error or crashes, it can send the error text and a crash report so we can fix it. Reports are limited to a few per minute and never contain the text of your notes. You can switch this off at any time in Preferences (“Send diagnostic logs”); then the app sends nothing on its own.

Updates

The copy downloaded from this website can check our update feed (Help › Check for Updates…, or automatically at launch if you said yes). The request carries no personal data. Updates are signed: the app installs only a package signed by HurryApp Ltd. The Microsoft Store copy has no updater of its own.

Retention, your rights, contact

Feedback and diagnostic reports are kept only as long as we need them to answer and fix problems. You can ask us to see, correct or delete anything you sent, or ask any question about this policy, by writing to info@hurryapp.uk. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk). Paragraph is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from them. If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
